Greetings, Welcome to the Leadership Command College Alumni Association. We are excited about our updated and redesigned web page and hope you find it useful. We plan on making more changes in the future so stay tuned.
I want to invite you to our 2011 Leadership Training Conference. It is at the fabulous Waterway Marriott Hotel in The Woodlands, Texas. It will be June 29 – July 1, the week before the 4th of July. The Marriott has allowed us to come in 3 days prior or stay 3 days after our conference for the same "State rate" which is about a third of the regular price! Come join us for great training conference as well as great holiday weekend!
We do our very best to find the best instructors for our conferences and this year we are excited to bring back Dr. Jack Enter. For those of you that have heard his leadership presentation, he needs no introduction. He is one of the most sought after presenters and he will send you away with some very valuable information that can reinvent you as a leader.
Also, we have Nancy Baird, M.Ed. coming in to bring a new paradigm on leadership and management. Her presentation has made big differences in her audience's perception of the role of a manager / leader. I have no doubt you will enjoy this presentation!
Dr. Enter says, "The failure of law enforcement managers may be the most serious organizational problem facing the profession today." My question is," If this is true (and I truly believe it to be) then why do we train so much on everything else, except leadership?" Leadership is something we use every day and one of the more difficult tasks to master.
